 Manley Lamarre, inspiré par les conceptions architecturales de son parrain lorsqu'il lui rendait visite dans son cabinet d'architecture, a commencé à dessiner lorsqu'il était un jeune garçon en Haïti. Ses talents artistiques ont été nourris par les cours d'art qu'il a reçus de sa grand-tante, Clémence Candio, de sa cousine, Solange Candio, et du grand artiste haïtien, Nehemy Jean. Après avoir déménagé aux États-Unis et au cours des années suivantes, Manley s'est beaucoup intéressé à l'écriture et à la production de musique. Parallèlement à ses activités musicales, il revient à ses premières amours, se développe en tant que dessinateur et se lance dans la peinture. Son style de peinture s'appuie sur le contemporain, comportant parfois des formes géométriques et incorporant toujours des couleurs vibrantes.

Manley Lamarre, inspired by his godfather's architectural designs when he would visit him in his architectural firm, started drawing when he was a young boy in Haiti. His artistic talents were further nurtured by art lessons he received from his great-aunt, Clemence Candio, cousin, Solange Candio, and the great Haitian artist, Nehemy Jean. Upon moving to the U.S., and in later years, Manley took great interest in writing and producing music. In parallel to his musical pursuits, he returned to his first love, expanded as a drawing artist, and started painting. His painting style leans on the contemporary, at times featuring geometric shapes and always incorporating vibrant colors.
