Eddy Thony Moïse
Painter |
Eddy Thony Moïse was born in Port-au-Prince, Haïti. From his early childhood, he was attracted by drawing and painting. Major in pedagogy and in assembly of metallic structures, he knew always how to run his vivid imagination and put it in the service of his talents of sculptor and painter. He also works the papier-mâché.
His father, Joseph Thony Moïse, artist-painter, is his professor and his model. He encouraged him to follow this path.
Eddy Thony possesses an eclectic style, of modern tendency. His color palette is elaborated, vivifying sometimes and moderate and tame at other times.
Eddy Thony participated in multiple exhibitions, individual or collective. His paintings have travelled a lot, particularly in the United States and Canada, but also through its homeland, Haïti.
