Born in Port-au-Prince, Suzy Reimers obtains, following her college in Haiti, a High School Diploma of Commerce in Puerto Rico, a certificate of gerontology at Cègep Bois de Boulogne in Montreal and a Certificate of Education in Child Care at UQAM. Co-director and co-founder of a nursery school, she assumed during 15 years the financial management then prioritized her attractiveness and her aptitude for art.
Her artistic profile is first expressed in pottery, sewing, interior decoration and gardening and, most recently, painting and creating jewelry. Following courses in painting at the Community Center Côtes des Neiges and jewelry at the Visual Arts Center Gallery McClure, her skills and techniques in painting have received additional personal supervision of Mrs. Rose, sister of the painter Tatossian.
Familiar with acrylics, she now prefers painting in oil and wants to improve her work in contact with his peers.
