Born in Port-au-Prince, Haïti, Eddy Royère showed, from his early childhood, a passion for drawing and painting. He studied in New York at the Phoenix School of design and was awarded a diploma by The Institute of photography of New York.
He becomes formally engaged in painting from his arrival to Montreal in 1967. He attended courses and training at the center of the visual Arts of Montreal. He participated in several expositions, private and in groups, with diverse artists. His paintings are sold in Miami, New York, Seattle, Toronto, Quebec and Montreal.
