Michel Colin
Painter

"Have you already felt the desire to abandon everything? If yes, do not abandon your dreams and your ambitions by discouragement, the big men never abandon." [Abraham Lincoln]

While working with young people Michel keep his eyes fixed on his dream. He picks up his brushes and his color palette. He invites you to discover his universe.

Born in Haiti. Since many years, he had two dreams: help the youth and develop his artistic training in drawing-painting, because he wishes to express his feelings through his work by the strokes of his brushes and the wealth of color. He is interested in Art History and in plastic art. He obtains a diploma in art in the CEGEP Marie-Victorin of Montreal. He paints since 1986 by choosing the acrylic as first medium. His subjects are varied: landscapes, still lives, the abstract but he has a fascination for the portrait. Always in search of improvement, he participates in several classes at the studio of Brésoles in Montreal in casting and drawing of live models. He pursues his training at the Mission of the Renaissance of Montreal while following different artistic workshops.
