First Prize Creativity-Custom Makeup Contest, Pavion André-Morissette Training Center, Plessisville (2014)
Appearance in the web magazine "Émergence Magazine Quebec" Edition November 2017, page 32.
Born in Montreal in 1991, the painter AnnciellaAlarie had a winding path before finding her way into the world of art. After professional studies in administration where she did not feel at home, she enrolled in DEP in aesthetics. In a make-up contest, she came up with the idea of a three-dimensional creation: the Hollywood-inspired result surpassed all her expectations and earned her first prize.
Following his undeniable interest in the arts, it was at the age of 25 that Annciella officially started painting. Combining her mastery of acrylic and mixed techniques that she has perfected with several teachers, she manages to create a window on the playful worlds she imagines, incorporating some unusual elements of her own. His paintings are the result of his fascination with the visual arts, the juxtaposition of colors and textures, and his quest to transform simple things into unique images that arouse interest.
Despite a career still young, the artist has had the opportunity to unveil his paintings in several group exhibitions, and some have even found space in the offices of professionals and on the walls of many art lovers who fell in love of his works. In addition, eight of his paintings were selected for the November 2017 issue of Émergence Magazine Québec.
This last year, it is his Immersion collection that has attracted the most attention, but projects are already accumulating under the artist's brush in 2018. Who knows what surprises it holds!
I am an artist who dreams of travel and history, fantastic worlds and wonderful landscapes. The amazed eyes of the child in me love to look at the world as if he saw it for the first time. I like to have the impression of following the flow, as if I were a leaf and my emotions wind. When I close my eyes, I feel that my soul is dancing on a palette of emotions, colors and ideas that I calmly assemble.
I like to find simple things and make them unique. I like working with different colors, different textures and different materials to let my imagination come to life. I am always looking to see always further and always higher. I wish one day to travel the world in search of new landscapes and new cultures to feed my imagination.
I am an exploratory artist, that's who I am
