Born in Cavaillon, Haiti, in the simple and grandiose beauty of nature, I always had under my eyes, in early childhood, the rich palette oftall trees, coffee trees and vegetable gardens.
Primary school in Les Cayes.Classic secondary school in Port-au-Prince.
My fertile imagination, always retouching the shapes, adding colors everywhere to deceive the change of scenery, I thought I was destined for interior decoration then haute couture: design and fashion. Two types of creation to which I always devote myself.
After a stay in Madrid, I moved to Quebec in 1972.
The judgment of a friend, painter and teacher, Emmanuel Pierre-Charles, having found that my eldest son, then eight years old, was very talented for drawing and painting, touching me in the heart remembering my childhood, I promised myself to brush up as soon as I retired.
Having ended in September 2017 my career as a graduate nurse, graduated from UdM, I enrolled myself in the painting class of JoséeBissonnette. Here I am, a year later, at my first participation in a group exhibition of Reminiscence Artists that I thank for opening this path.
